At TestBox, we’re building a platform that helps make it easier for both buyers and sellers to buy software. Our SaaS offering, TestBox Convert, enables sellers to give perfect demos every time and then let their buyers play with the product themselves through interactive sandboxes.

TestBox is hiring a Customer Engineering Product Manager to join our Go-To-Market team. You will report to the Chief Solutions Officer and partner with our Sales Engineer, Head of Customer Success, and Customer Engineering team to deliver an exceptional implementation experience. You will be the company's expert on how we should build our integrations and systems to ensure the best possible implementation experience for our customers. You will own the process from end to end and drive enhancements and best practices to ensure long-term scalability and efficiency.

We are looking for someone who loves to get technical with customers and solve challenging requests while balancing system requirements and constraints.

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Own the Technical Configuration aspect of Solution Design for our customers implementations with the Customer Engineering team.
    • Scoping/Planning: Build Product specs and requirements by collaborating with customer contacts to solve varying technical feature asks
    • Coordination: Ensure customer engineering tasks are appropriately scheduled to ensure delivery on-time across simultaneous builds with excellent project management skills
    • Manage a customer-driven solution design: Work with customers and other internal stakeholders to understand and prioritize customer requests with an eye for trade-offs and thoughtful decision-making.
    • Validation and Delivery: Work collaboratively with both internal teams and external customers to successfully roll out new capabilities.
    • Ongoing Support: Assist the team in managing ongoing technical requests for our customers to ensure they are realizing maximum value from our solution.
  • Be awesome: Teach us your ways, learn new things, add to our culture, and tell the founder and leaders they’re wrong... you get the idea!

You’re a great fit for the role if you:

  • Have 4-5+ years of experience in previous technical implementation or product manager roles at a b2b SaaS company.
  • Strong understanding of web development fundamentals (e.g. RESTful APIs, client-side vs. server-side, deployment, testing methodologies)
  • Ability to converse fluently with internal and external engineers on the above technical topics
  • Have experience integrating with third-party platforms and/or services
  • Enjoy getting “into the weeds” of technical problems
  • Love organization and putting structure onto a blank canvas, enjoy building processes and systems
  • Have strong project management skills and the ability to work independently to deliver an exceptional experience
  • Problem Solving and Requirements Analysis: Quickly evaluate and solve a variety of complex technical challenges. Develop technical designs, requirements, and success metrics
  • Eye for Details: Create implementations based on design wireframes and mockups using a combination of shared UI components and bespoke, custom components.
  • You like to take ownership and look at the bigger outcome for the company and the collective team.
  • You act from a place of integrity by being honest, open, and vulnerable.
  • You are customer-obsessed by delivering what customers need first and foremost.
  • Are curious, approach problems with creative solutions, work collaboratively, make it happen despite roadblocks, are a kind human, and want to grow

If you don’t have the exact experience for this position but are close, please apply! We’re not looking for people to “fit” our company but rather add to and enhance our company through different perspectives, viewpoints, and backgrounds. If you should require accommodation throughout the recruitment process, please let us know and we’ll work with you to meet your needs.

Why you’ll love working with us:

  • We actively created a large Employee Stock Options Pool so we can reward our amazing founding team members
  • Career development is a top priority and we will work with you from day one to hype your achievements and help you grow to the potential you want. We hire for trajectory, not past performance
  • Mental health services contribution to cover/contribute to co-pay costs (our CEO, Sam, is a big weekly therapy advocate)
  • 12 weeks paid parental leave with an option to do part-time return to work
  • Pre-tax FSA, medical (incl. additional out-of-state coverage), dental, and vision coverage (because we all deserve to not worry about our healthcare)
  • Annual fitness reimbursement
  • Learning budget (there’s always something we should collectively know more about)
  • Unlimited PTO (with a minimum of 15 days per year - none of this no vacation business, our CEO Sam typically takes 20-25 days a year)
  • Work from Home remote set-up allowance
  • We think there are many more reasons beyond this list and really hope you’re as excited to apply as we are. We’re looking forward to meeting you!
